Equinox Triclops

|
The centre of the fixture fires out dozens of red, green and blue beams reflecting from mirrors around its perimeter. Instead of being powered by a halogen lamp, it's equipped with Ultra Bright LEDs that consume a fraction of the energy, have a much longer 50,000-hour lamp life and produce pin-sharp beams with or without fog.
Great for DJs along with clubs and discos the Triclops is an exciting stage effect which creates an incredibly dramatic effect projecting amazingly bright, sharp LED beams that pan and tilt over an extremely wide area.
Compatible with a standard DMX-512 controller, the fixture features 8 DMX channels. It can also be run without a controller in Sound Active mode; just turn it on and it will chase to the music via it's built-in programmes. Multiple units can also be linked together in Master/Slave mode for a very large, spectacular in-sync light show.

Equinox Predator |
|
The Equinox Predator fires beams of brilliant colour onto wide angle reflectors to create unique criss-crossing patterns that covers a wide area.
Equipped with 32 red, 48 green and 42 blue Ultra Bright 5mm LEDs, which are projected through 6 lenses, the Predator can cover very big areas. It produces 6 clusters of bright, razor-sharp LED beams that rotate and criss-cross, while swirling and gliding over wide areas.
DMX compatibility allows users to create their own programmes with any standard DMX controller. The unit is equipped with 4 DMX channels which give users control over strobe speed/dimmer and LED colours. For users who do not want to use a DMX controller, the unit can be run with its own built-in sound active programmes. Multiple units can be linked together in master-slave via XLR cables.

Equinox Viper |
 |
The ultimate classic disco lighting effect has been reinvented, the Viper! Housed in a stylish aluminium extruded case it projects widely dispersed beams of light via its 12 lenses. Five colours of high powered 1 Watt LEDs provide multi-coloured beams that rival that of the classic halogen version but with none of the associated heat output or power consumption. All this means the lightweight chassis won't get hot, needs no cool-down time, and has no duty cycle in operation. With stunning built-in patterns, the Viper works via sound activation straight from the box.

Equinox Maxi Bar System |
Unpack the system and you can see that a lot of thought has gone into all of the hardware. The fixtures are lightweight and robust yet very compact. After un-packing you only need to plug in the mains cable and the multi-core from the footswitch controller and you're ready to rock.
The Equinox R&D team have managed to make the lamp housings around 4cm deep, which makes the system very compact when packed away. Four identical LED arrays are fitted to a T-bar, which also houses the electronics, including a mode display and buttons for Menu, Up and Down. When foot mode is selected the unit is essentially in foot-controller mode, which can be either sound activated or based on one of nine presets.
The Maxi Bar houses 432 Ultra bright 10mm LEDs split between blue, green and red. When used in combination, these can produce pretty much any colour, including white. Overall, the power consumption is a nominal 64W.
The system has full DMX control and can be set to any one of 15 DMX channels although it is likely that most users will rely on the footswitch and the automatic modes. If more lighting bars are required, they can be connected in master/slave fashion using standard XLR cables. The footswitch unit is gratifyingly robust, with a folded steel case and very substantial switches. There are four switches in all, which are labelled: Preset, Sound, Hold and Blackout. Preset mode steps through nine options, which comprise of seven static colour choices, an automatic colour change, or a morph between colours. When Sound is activated, the unit is triggered from a microphone built into the T-bar, which has its own sensitivity control. In this mode the system steps through a series of built-in chases with some involving individual arrays being switched on and off, and others involving all the arrays in a colour change sequence. Hold freezes the current lighting state, whereas Blackout kills all the lamps.
Each array sits in an adjustable bracket, giving plenty of vertical and horizontal adjustment, and connects to the T-bar via a locking connector that can remain in place when packing. The T-bar itself fits onto the included tripod stand and comes supplied in its own road bag. The rest of the system fits into the padded zip-up case, which has a side pocket large enough to hold the footswitch.
